Peer Practice group on Self-Care

Purpose: To explore our present activities in the areas of our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being, and to recognize how they may or may not meet our needs today.
What: We bring our focus to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual elements of well-being as a way to explore how we understand and practice self-care. And we do this using the six-week Peer Practice model.
What: In addition to taking a week at the beginning to become familiar with the Peer Practice model and at the end to harvest our learning, we will take one week to explore each of the four elements of well-being. And we will do this using the language of NVC. The activities will include:
How: We learn and practice through Daily Reflections, Weekly Conversations with a practice partner, and weekly online Circles with the group.
Dates:
Break the week of 2nd November
Who: Anyone who has taken part in a Restorative Practices training or NVC training.
Where: Online via Zoom, and by phone or in person with your practice partner.
E.G .Zoom calls from 7:30-9pm. (On average participation takes 4 hours a week which includes a 90 minute Zoom call, 30-60 minute conversation between practice partners, and a 10 minute daily reflection.)
How much: Sliding scale/pay what you can: €60-120. The amount we request for this 6 week practice is the amount we estimate will make the work sustainable. We recognize we all have different levels of income and we are very willing to take time to come to an agreement with anyone who wishes to contribute something other than the requested amount.
